In their October 1998 issue, Premiere magazine presented its list of the 100 most daring movies ever made (also known as “Rebel Cinema” and “100 Movies That Shook the World.” The goal was to, as Filmsite.org says, celebrate films that “dared to be ridiculous, offensive, or even unpopular” but still ended up as classic films.
